Hey, humans! Yesterday, on Black Friday, the good people of Mad Angel Films invaded the picture-perfect, quiet town of Clinton, NY. It was like something out of a 1950’s Christmas film, seriously. Every Black Friday they (shoppers local and from elsewhere) all get together and hit up the local shops. And this Black Friday, we were invited to do a DVD signing in the local book store, Park Row Books.  It was quite a turnout, and soon enough we will be invanding some lucky peoples’ homes with our DVDs!

Hello to all humans out there! It’s been a while since i’ve last posted. So now it’s time to get you caught up on all the crazy things that have been happening around here. First off, Brackish is finshed! It was shown at the new Uptown Theater in Utica, NY. To a great crowd, I might add. It is now out on dvd! It has been getting a great buzz from the people who have already seen it!

Ok, moving on now…

It is time for a new movie in Mad Angel land! And the film is called The Abandonded. What is it you ask? Well, it’s gonna be a post-apocalyptic film. During a catastrauphic event, a boy is abandoned by society. Years later, he is now emerging back into a world that has long forgotten him. The world he once knew is gone, and now is replaced by humans living underground rebelling against the mutant cannibals known as … the Creepers. There is one last hope for man kind, which lies in the blood of a young girl who was born with gentic traits that allow her to survive the harsh weather conditions that wreak havoc on the earth. The young man joins the ragtag group of human rebels as they travel through Creeper territory to reach a rumored citythat is the last remnant of humankind.

It’s gonna be pretty intresting. Full of all the good stuff people enjoy! The script is done, so what comes next? We will be scouting locations and interviewing prospective cast and crew. Anyone interested in participating in this, let us know. I promise to update the blog a lot more in order to keep you all informed. I am also planning on doing a weekly behind-the-scenes video when we start to shoot. This will be a way to let you all in on the process of filmmaking. Makes you feel good, doesn’t it?
